Valentine's Day is My Jam!
Valentine's Day is around the corner and it is LEGIT one of my favorite holidays. Well next to Christmas and my birthday, Valentine's Day scores pretty high.
For as far back as I can remember, I have always always LOVED Valentine's Day. The colors of red (doesn't hurt that red is my absolute favorite color), the yummy candy and chocolate confections, the fun nostalgic old school perforated Valentine's Day cards and the roses and the sappy and (sometimes) silly love letters. I love it all!
Old School Puppy Love
What I think I love the most about Valentine's Day are the grand gestures of love people go out of their way to show. I remember going to the mall to pick out a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend. I think I was like 13 or so. My parents had to drive me to the mall. I think I lied and said the gift I was buying was for "a friend" because I was too embarrassed to say who it was really for. I'm not even sure I wrapped it. Too shy and too embarrassed. Sad! Needless to say, the gift lasted longer than my juvenile relationship. LOL!

It's all about texture for this playful little Valentine's Day outfit. Velvet, suede and fringe rule! Can I just tell you how much I loved this outfit. It was as much fun to wear as it was to shoot in it. A long-sleeved pink velvet deeeeeeep v body suit and a super fun suede fringy skirt. This skirt was so fringy. All I wanted to do was shake and shimmy in it. The boots were the perfect pop of merlot to compliment the outfit. Did you check out my necklace(s)? It's actually 1 necklace but it looks like 3 for layering. I love it. In fact, I love it so much I bought it in gold too!
