Inevitable Changes: Peace Love and Excitement!
Life Changes
This weekend I woke up with such a sense of positivity and hopefulness. I can't describe the feeling that I felt. It was just this sense of overall peace and well-being. And something telling and reassuring me not to worry because everything will be alright. To be honest I haven't felt this way in a while. Over the past few weeks there's been a few challenges in my life, professionally and personally (i.e. Salmonella poisoning). But despite what's happened and happening, I am so pumped about the direction life and this blog are headed in. Which brings me too . . . .
Blog Changes
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited about the new changes coming up to the blog, Resplendently Living. Can you tell how excited I am???? No seriously, y'all do not understand how pumped I am about the new content that we've got coming up. I don't want to give it away because at this point, it's G14 Classified. But what I can tell you is that there will be some cool new content and giveaways! Yup! I said GIVEAWAYS! Now who doesn't love a good giveaway? Ugh! I want to share with y'all so bad . . . but I can't. Just stick around because I know you are gonna love the new changes as much as I do too!!!
About My Look
In the spirit of change and renewal, I thought that wearing white would be super appropriate. I used to be so afraid to wear white because of the old school rules I grew up with: 1. Don't wear white before Easter. 2. Don't wear white after Labor Day. 3. Just don't wear white because it gets dirty. And yada yada yada . . .But as I've grown older, I've learned that I truly LOVE wearing white. How could you not love the crisp cleanness of wearing white? Another thing I love is this outfit! It's a two-piece with a little peek-a-boo mid-drift area and a fun criss-cross back. The seersucker material is PERFECT for summer. Jazz it up with a little color pop in your earrings and shoes and we've got a winner here.
