Is it Spring or Winter?

Spring is almost here and I'm just itching to break out anything in my closet that remotely represents spring.  Although we, Houstonians, don't experience the "typical" winter that the rest of the country has the pleasure of, often times it can be challenging when picking out something to wear.  Have you ever been cold and humid at the same time?  No?  Come to Houston.Each month I shop for outfits to wear on Resplendently Living and as we get closer to spring, the harder it gets.  Honestly, I just want to wear Spring-things (ha!  that rhymed) right now.  But I hesitate to go full-on Spring, when I hear the voice of my momma (aka the voice of seasons change past) in my head, "Don't you know, that's how people get sick!"Because of this, I'm going to get a jump-start on spring.  First up, we are going to "Break the Most Important Winter Fashion Rule" . . . Spring white jeans in Winter!

How to Wear Spring White Jeans in Winter!

Yes ma'am, you heard right.  We are doing Spring white jeans in the Winter!Here comes the MOMENT OF TRUTH:  I'm ashamed to say that up until *cough, cough* recently I was very (shall we say) anti-white before Easter.  Yes, I was one of those.  No white before Easter and no white after Labor Day.Well, you live and you learn.  And today, I'm rocking the white jeans.  So in order to pull off a good pre-Spring white jean, I think you need to make sure you pair it with some article of clothing from Winter.

About My Look:

I paired my Spring white jeans with this amazing tie-back sweater from Express.  Oh how I LOVE this sweater, let me count the ways . . . 1, 2, 3 . . .  The amazing tie-back details makes this sweater transitional from Winter to Spring.  On colder Winter days, layer under a cute lace bralet or a sold color bra tank for added warmth and dimension.  On warmer days wear a strapless bra, adjust the ties  on the sweater and set that shoulder free!
