Oh Honey Let's Snack Healthy

I’ve always been pretty vocal about my love/hate relationship with working out.  Meaning:  I HATE knowingly working out but I absolutely LOVE the results (Hello, perky butt).  Whisper the words “treadmill” or “bootcamp” and I’m out!  I will say, for me, the game changer was finding my love of running and staying active by keeping a variety in my routine.  Over the past few years, my icy attitude towards knowingly working out has slowly began to melt.  And at times, I can admit to battling fomo over a missed workout.

September is National Honey Month and last week, the National Honey Board sent me a fun workout themed party pack curated by none other than entertainment expert, Camille Styles.   Whether hanging out with your crew, spending time with your family or working out, September is a great time to celebrate life’s golden moments during National Honey Month.

I’m celebrating National Honey Month by treating myself to a yummy post workout honey greek yogurt and cherry smoothie.  I've listed the recipe below.  Trust me, it’s good!  You’ll thank me later.  Hey Honey, still hungry?  Check out these other delicious honey recipes here.

More Tips That Keep Me Active:

  1. Work out 1st thing in the morning: I cannot express to you how much I absolutely LOVE working out super early while watching the sun come up. There’s something so peaceful, beautiful and energizing about it. Plus, this is a great time for me to zone out uninterrupted before the onslaught of emails and phone calls commandeers my day.

  2. The playlist is key: NEVER (and I repeat) underestimate the power of trap music. Nothing will get you more motivated and wanting to conquer your day than a little rap music by T.I.

  3. A great workout outfit: Yes we are sweating but that doesn’t mean you can’t look ultra cute doing so. I love a little Lululemon. Seriously, have you seen what a great pair of Lulu pants can do for your butt?!
