New Year's Eve is right and around the corner and I'm super excited to welcome 2017 with wide open arms. Bring on the parties, the champagne, the countdowns and the kisses! I am ready! But before we can all don our silly party favor glasses and ring our festive noise makers, one must have the absolute perfect outfit.

About the Look:
I'm a firm believer in the adage, "When in doubt, wear black." Why? Easy! Black NEVER lets me down. Dress it up, dress it down. Black is clutch. That's why it has become my classic (last minute) "fancy uniform of choice."When pressed for time and in desperate need of something to wear, I reach for 3 things: something black, a piece of statement jewelry and a beautiful lip color.
3 Essential Items Needed:
1-Piece: The Bodysuit
For a different spin on an old black classic, a bodysuit does just the trick. I LOVE all of the lace details of this bodysuit. The bodice of the bodysuit lace beautiful but the real showstopper is the back. Did you see the back? Two words: Sheer Lace. With this bodysuit, if I could find a way to enter the room backwards without looking crazy, I totally would. #drama
Make a Statement: Statement Earring
Talk about a statement piece . . . Can I tell you, that I am so obsessed with these earrings from Burdlife?! At our photo shoot, Burdlife graciously brought an array of her handmade baubles. All were so gorgeous, but my eye instantly went to these earrings. They were so beautiful but I had absolutely no idea what to wear with them. So on the table they just sat. Just as I was running out of the door to have my picture taken, Burdie magically suggested I wear "the" earrings for my shoot.
Pop: Red Lips
Who wants instantly whiter teeth and an instant glow? Yes, please (and I'll take two, thanks!) With a monochromatic color scheme, a beautiful eye-catching lip color can really elevate your fashion game. I always shoot for a red lipstick with a blue undertone. My favorite red I'm crushing on at the moment is Beso [translation: "kiss" in Spanish]. So, it's obviously New Year's Eve kiss approved.
